Shamna Kkasim has been overwhelmed by the response to Ala Bolelo, the first single from Jailer 2, which has crossed seven million views on YouTube. Taking to social media, the actor-dancer expressed heartfelt gratitude to director Nelson and audiences for making what she called one of her "biggest dreams come true."

"From my childhood, dance has been everything to me. I never imagined that one day I would get the opportunity to perform in a Rajinikanth sir movie," she wrote, adding that she had always dreamed of performing with a "superhero." She also thanked her husband for believing in her dream and her mother for her sacrifices and support. "Everything I am today is because of her," she said.

Composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander with lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj, Ala Bolelo is a Kerala-inspired number featuring Shamna in a traditional kasavu saree, with Rajinikanth making a brief appearance towards the end of the song. Jailer 2 is directed by Nelson and releases on October 15.
