Raja Karuppasamy’s debut feature Modha Rathri arrives on Netflix from 18 September 2026, less than a month after its 21 August theatrical release. The comedy-drama will stream in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.

Rishikanth makes his lead as Maruthanayagam (Maruthu), back in his village after six years in Dubai and nudged into an arranged marriage. Anishma Anilkumar plays Muthuselvi, who also enters the alliance under family pressure while carrying private heartbreak. Shelly Kishore, Chetan and Bagavathi Perumal round out key roles.
