Sun Pictures has unveiled SJ Suryah as Bodhi Kalpak in Jailer 2. The character intro opens with Suraj Venjaramoodu’s voiceover before Suryah steps out of a black car — white outfit, sunglasses, cool swagger. The glimpse hints at a darker shade; full role details stay under wraps.

This is Suryah’s first on-screen pairing with Rajinikanth and follows yesterday’s Dileep reveal for Suraj. Nelson Dilipkumar directs; Anirudh scores; Vijay Kartik Kannan shoots. Returning faces include Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa, Shivarajkumar, Yogi Babu and others, with newer names including Vijay Sethupathi in the mix. Theatrical date: 15 October 2026.
