Pa Ranjith has dropped World of Vettuvam, a narrated glimpse that lays out the world of his next film — a socio-political action drama spanning past, present and a future shaped by destruction.

In the voice-over, Ranjith draws a line between vettai (hunting for food or protection) and vettuvam (clans fighting to prove power). The story turns on a fighting competition — with intensive training in Adi Murai and Mal Kambh / Mallakhamba — where the winner claims a title and leadership. “Will this destruction lead to new life?” he asks as the footage peaks.

Cast intros in the cut: Arya as Dharmarajan, Sobhita Dhulipala as Radhi, VR Dinesh as Nandhan, Kalaiyarasan as Veeravarman, and Shabeer Kallarakkal as Sembiyan. Supporting names include Mime Gopi, Guru Somasundaram, John Vijay, Sai Dheena, Harish Uthaman and others.

GV Prakash Kumar scores; Roopesh Shaji shoots; Selva RK edits; Dhilip Subbarayan on action. Neelam Productions and Learn and Teach Productions back the film. Theatrical aim is December, in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
