Suriya has shared a behind-the-scenes clip of Ashok Selvan preparing for a roughly 70-foot water dive in Anbil Avan — without showing the actual jump, which the makers are saving for theatres.

The footage covers location checks, scuba divers inspecting the waterbody (depths said to reach around 150 feet), and pool training before the real attempt. Debutant director R Kaarthikeyan says the cliff dive was in the script from the writing stage; Ashok pushed to make it feel real. Sister-producer Abinaya Selvam and co-star Preity Mukundhan flagged the risk while praising the commitment.
