Makers of Mookuthi Amman 2 – Maha Sakthi have released a new teaser on Vinayaka Chaturthi and locked a theatrical date for Deepavali — November 6, 2026.

Nayanthara returns as the titular goddess in this Sundar C–directed sequel. Early cuts suggest a darker Amman thriller than RJ Balaji’s satirical first film. Regena Cassandrra appears as a new antagonistic force, with Hiphop Thamizha on music.

The teaser also nods to a dual timeline, weaving a royal past with a present-day conflict. Theatre release is aimed at the Deepavali corridor.
