Suriya’s 47th film finally has a name. Makers have dropped a title teaser for Scene, directed by Aavesham filmmaker Jithu Madhavan in his Tamil debut, and locked a worldwide theatrical date for November 6, 2026 — ahead of the Deepavali weekend.

The teaser introduces Suriya as DSP Inbaraj, a rebellious, rule-bending cop who gets under his colleagues’ skin and has a charged history with the prisoners he’s put away. Nazriya Nazim and Naslen co-star, with Anandraj, Lal, John Vijay and Raj Priyan also in the mix. (Fan reads of Naslen as the antagonist remain unconfirmed.)

Sushin Shyam scores the film. Suriya and Jyothika produce under Zhagaram Studios (with 2D Entertainment / Jaishree Damodaran also credited). Shoot wrapped in July 2026; Netflix has the streaming rights. The date also sets up a same-day clash with Ramayana: Part 1.
