Director Sivakumar Murugesan's upcoming film Seyon has added Seeman to its cast, announced producer Raaj Kamal Films International. Seeman joins the previously confirmed lineup that includes lead actor Sivakarthikeyan, female lead Bhagyashri Borse, and Raj B Shetty. The announcement was made through a video featuring Seeman dressed in white, with reports suggesting he plays a powerful role in the mythologically and culturally themed film. This marks his first collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan. Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, and Singampuli round out the cast.

Seyon is Sivakumar Murugesan's second directorial venture, following Thaai Kizhavi, which starred Radikaa Sarathkumar and was produced by Sivakarthikeyan under his own banner. Kamal Haasan had attended a screening of Thaai Kizhavi and expressed his appreciation for the director before Seyon was announced. The superstar is producing the upcoming film along with R Mahendran under Raaj Kamal Films International.

The project reunites Sivakarthikeyan with producer Kamal Haasan after their collaboration on Amaran. Plot details remain under wraps, though the makers recently shared a glimpse video showing Sivakarthikeyan's character being deified around a police station.

On the technical front, the film features music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Vidhu Ayyanna, editing by San Lokesh, art direction by RK Nagu, production design by Arun Venjaramoodu, and stunts by Anbariv.

Having wrapped its second schedule, Seyon is set for a theatrical release in October, with the exact date yet to be announced.
