C, director Arun Matheswaran's adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's Devdas, is heading to Sun NXT on September 4 — less than a month after its August 7 theatrical release.

The film stars Lokesh Kanagaraj as Devadas, a broken man on the run from authorities whose chance encounter with two women transforms all their lives. Wamiqa Gabbi and Sanjana AK play the female leads, with Anirudh composing the music to wide acclaim. The film is produced by Sun Pictures with Kalanithi Maran presenting.
