Suriya is on an unstoppable run in 2026. After Karuppu became a massive blockbuster earlier this year, his next film Vishwanath & Sons has crossed Rs 200 crore at the worldwide box office in just ten days of its release — making it back-to-back super hits for the actor within the same calendar year.

Directed by Venky Atluri and released on August 14, the family entertainer follows Sanjay Vishwanath, a sportsperson-entrepreneur who opts for surrogacy to give his mother the grandchild she longs for. When the child requires a bone marrow transplant and Sanjay is not a match, he tracks down the surrogate mother Maddy, played by Mamitha Baiju — and an unexpected connection unfolds between them.

The film has been earning strong word of mouth from audiences and stars Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, Nasser and others in key roles. GV Prakash Kumar composes the music, with Nimish Ravi on cinematography and Naveen Nooli editing. Produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Vishwanath & Sons is Suriya's second Rs 200 crore-plus film of 2026.
