Arjun Das has described Once More as "Srikanth's love letter to Mani sir" at the film's trailer launch, while also opening up about his decision to step into a softer, romance-driven role after a career closely associated with intense and violent characters.

The actor said he was drawn to the film for its emotional honesty. "When Srikanth narrated the story to me, it was a very clean, beautiful and realistic emotional drama. There is healing in it. There is hope," he said. He also recalled an interaction with an elderly woman at a theatre who urged him to do a film without violence — "This is for that woman, and for many other people," he said.

Arjun was candid about his hesitation around romance. "I always had this doubt — should I do a romantic film or not? I was wondering whether I could pull it off." He credited co-stars Aditi Shankar and Sona Olickal as the "pillars" of the film, saying their support made him comfortable portraying Raghu. "If these two weren't there, I definitely wouldn't have been able to pull off the character completely," he said.

He also emphasised the film's clean and respectful tone. "There is no abusive language, no toxicity. It respects women." Once More, directed by Vignesh Srikanth, releases on August 28.
