The first song from Karthik Subbaraj's Dorothy has been unveiled. Titled Kalyana Virundhu, the upbeat track is composed and written by Ilaiyaraaja and sung by Yugendran, Anthony Daasan and Priya Jerson. Sharing the song, Karthik wrote, "Raaja sir music is always my Soul Therapy and working with him was a lifetime dream... And so this moment is feeling very very special to me."

Dorothy stars Keerthy Suresh, Sananth and Rishikanth, and is set to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival — expected to be the first Tamil film from India to receive a TIFF world premiere in a decade. The film releases in theatres on September 25 and marks Karthik Subbaraj's tenth feature. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain under Sikhya Entertainment and Dhammam Films.
