Arjun's action drama Blast has crossed Rs 50 crore at the worldwide box office, with the film's total standing at Rs 58.21 crore after eleven days in theatres. The second weekend showed healthy holds with Rs 2.45 crore on Friday, Rs 4.35 crore on Saturday, and Rs 5.04 crore on Sunday, pointing to solid word of mouth keeping the film afloat.

Directed by debutant Subash K Raj, Blast follows a family of fighters drawn into a larger conspiracy against a crime syndicate. The film also stars Abhirami, Preity Mukhundhan, Vivek Prasanna, John Kokken, and Dileepan. Ravi Basrur marks his Tamil debut as music composer with the film.
