RS Durai Senthilkumar famous for directing Tamil movies like Ethir Neechal (2013), Kaaki Sattai (2015), Kodi (2016) and Pattas (2020), is gearing up for the release of his next movie titled Garudan. The movie stars Soori, Sasikumar, Unni Mukhundan in the lead, and it has now been officially announced that Garudan's release date is May 31, 2024 [Friday]. 

Garudan's release date announcement was accompanied by a video [view above] release on Think Music India's YouTube channel. Garudan is a production venture of K.Kumar of Lark Studios, and also has Sshivada, Roshini Haripriyan, Samuthrakani, Mime Gopi, R.V.Udayakumar, Vadivukarasi, Dushyanth, Motta Rajendran, Bragida in its cast. 

Garudan has story by director Vetrimaaran, who gave Soori his big break as a lead with Viduthalai: Part 1 (2023). The film with screenplay, direction by RS Durai Senthil Kumar has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, Arthur A Wilson for cinematography, G. Durairaj for art, Mahesh Mathew for action, Dinesh Master for choreography, and Pradeep E Ragav for edits.
