Retro starring Suriya in the lead is all set to premiere in the US on May 1, 2025 9 AM IST (April 30, 2025 11: 30 PM EST), and an initial theater list for the movie has been unveiled by North America distributors, Prime Media. The final Retro USA theater list will be out on Monday, April 28. 

Retro with Pooja Hegde playing female lead, opens in Tamil and Telugu languages in the US. The movie is a love action written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, and has Santhosh Narayanan for music.
