Retro starring Suriya in the lead is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide on May 1, 2025, and advance bookings for the movie is already open in overseas locations like the UK, and GCC. Now, it has been officially announced that the Retro advance bookings in Canada are also live.

Additionally, Retro's distributors in North America have updated that the movie's USA bookings are starting to open. "Check your favorite theaters for bookings, they are starting to open", posted Prime Media on X.  

Written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj, Retro is a love action thriller Pooja Hegde playing female lead, and Santhosh Narayanan for music. The movie is a joint production venture of Jyotika and Suriya's 2D Entertainment, and Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Films.
