Dhanush's already packed lineup may have just gotten bigger. The actor is reportedly set to collaborate with director Siva for a new project, adding yet another film to his busy slate.

According to reports, Siva recently narrated a rural-based script to Dhanush, who was impressed by the idea. However, with multiple commitments already lined up, the actor is said to have asked the filmmaker to hold the project for the time being.

Sources claim that Dhanush has tentatively allotted dates from January 2027, after completing his existing commitments. The film is expected to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers, though an official announcement is yet to be made.

Dhanush is currently busy with D55, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and co-starring Mammootty, Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela. He also has a reunion with Mari Selvaraj in the works, a project with Lubber Pandhu director Thamizharasan Pachamuthu, and the long-discussed biopics on Ilaiyaraaja and APJ Abdul Kalam.'
