Two of 2020's biggest star releases - Rajinikanth's Darbar and Dhanush's Pattas opened the year with a bang and hardly a month later their OTT release dates are the talk of the town. Both films have apparently been picked up by Amazon's Prime Video (India) and if the buzz in the industry is anything to go by, then Darbar will premiere on February 23, 2020 and Pattas on February 14, 2020.

However, an official confirmation on the same is awaited. Darbar produced by Lyca productions was a cop story directed by A.R. Murugadoss while Pattas, a Sathya Jyothi Films production was themed around Adimurai, an ancient martial arts form of Tamil Nadu.
