Paranthu Po starring actor Shiva and debutant child actor Mithun Ryan in the lead, is an upcoming Tamil movie that is scheduled to release in theaters on July 4, 2025. Written and directed by Ram, Paranthu Po recently had a trailer release, and is currently gearing up for a second single release titled Daddy Romba Paavam. 

Before Daddy Romba Paavam, Paranthu Po saw the release of an amusingly easy on the ears melody titled Sunflower. Both Sunflower and Daddy Romba Paavam have lyrics by Madan Karky, and now it has been revealed that Madan Karky will see the release of his 1000th song with the Paranthu Po album. 

Madhan Karky began his career as a lyric writer in 2009, and his first song was Irumbile Oru Idhayam from the Rajinikanth-Shankar's Enthiran (2010) under AR Rahman's music. However, Madhan Karky's official first release was the song Odo Odo Ododi Poren from Kanden Kadhalai (2009) under Vidyasagar's music.  

Santhosh Dhayanithi has composed music for Paranthu Po, and details of Madan Karky's 1000th song are currently awaited. Paranthu Po was initially screened on February 4, 2025 at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.

The movie is a joint production venture of Jio Hotstar, GKS Bros Production, Seven Seas And Seven Hills Productions, and is being released worldwide by Romeo Pictures.
