Strong buzz is doing the rounds in industry circles about a possible reunion between Ajith Kumar and director Siruthai Siva, this time with a racing backdrop.

Sources suggest that Siruthai Siva has been spending considerable time around Ajith’s racing team, fuelling speculation that the director is developing a car-racing–based script tailored for the star. If the project materialises, it is expected to be planned after Ajith completes his collaboration with Adhik Ravichandran.

Adding to the speculation, Siruthai Siva and actress Sreeleela were recently spotted at Ajith’s racing venue, with reports claiming that Siva was filming Ajith’s real-life racing sessions. This led to widespread assumptions online that the footage was meant for an upcoming feature film.

However, a team source has clarified that the shoot was conducted for a commercial advertisement, and that the internet appears to have misinterpreted it as footage for a full-fledged film project.

Meanwhile, in a recent interaction with Motor Vikatan, when Siruthai Siva was asked whether he would direct a car-racing–based film with Ajith, the filmmaker reportedly responded, “Wait, an update will come”, further fuelling the buzz.

 As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the project.
