Arya’s upcoming spy thriller Mr X is all set to hit theatres on April 17, the makers have officially announced. The film, which wrapped production in 2024, had been awaiting a confirmed release date.

Directed by Manu Anand, Mr X is billed as an espionage thriller. While plot details remain under wraps, the teaser hints at a high-stakes crisis that brings back dormant secret agents into action. Notably, Manu’s previous film FIR also explored similar spy-thriller themes.

The film stars Arya alongside Manju Warrier, Sarath Kumar, and Gautham Karthik in key roles. The supporting cast includes Athulyaa Ravi, Raiza Wilson, Jayaprakash, Kaali Venkat, and Anagha.

On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Arul Vincent, music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, and editing by Prasanna GK. Mr X is backed by Vineet Jain and S Lakshman Kumar, with A Venkatesh serving as co-producer.
