The team confirmed that Vijay Antony is not involved in any capacity and clarified that the actual lead is M.S Sameer Ali Khan. They also apologized to Vijay Antony, his fans, and the public for the misunderstanding, putting an end to the rumors.

Directed, produced, and headlined by Sameer Ali Khan, the romantic comedy “Tamil Paiyan Hindi Ponnu” is set to release worldwide on January 9, 2026. The film features Aadukalam Naren, Brahmaji, Sonia Bose, and Kumki Asvin in key roles.

The movie’s shooting has been completed, and post-production is progressing in full swing. This marks Sameer Ali Khan’s second film after his debut Kadhal Mattum Vena.
