Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie has officially crossed the breakeven mark in Karnataka, grossing an impressive Rs. 43.48 Cr in just two weeks. This milestone comes despite the film facing below par word-of-mouth (WOM), underlining the sheer power of Rajinikanth’s pull at the box office.

Coolie Karnataka Box Office: Weekly Breakdown

• Week 1: Rs. 37.25 Cr

• Week 2: Rs. 6.23 Cr

• Total (14 days): Rs. 43.48 Cr (Gross)

With this, the Sun Pictures produced Coolie has turned profitable for Karnataka distributors, AV Media Consultancy, and Jayanna Films, who bought the Coolie Karnataka theatrical rights for Rs. 22 Cr. Coolie is currently in week 3, and day 16 of its theatrical run. 

Coolie written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, also stars Kannada actors Upendra, Rachita Ram, and has Anirudh Ravichander for music. Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Shruthi Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, and Pooja Hegde in a dance came are the other actors in the film.
