Sunny Deol Announces Jaat 2, Sequel to His Recent Action Film

Sunny Deol is all set to return as Baldev Pratap Singh in the sequel to his recent action film Jaat, titled Jaat 2. Though the first film had only a modest start at the box office, earning around ₹57.5 crore nett in its first week, the positive audience response has encouraged the makers to move forward with a sequel.

The announcement came just a week after Jaat's release, with Sunny Deol sharing the Jaat 2 poster on Social Media, captioned: “#Jaat on to a New Mission! #Jaat2.”

Gopichand Malineni, who directed the first film, will return to helm the sequel. The production team—Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Y, and TG Vishwa Prasad—is also back on board, with the film being produced under Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory.

The original film, released on April 11, 2025, featured Randeep Hooda as the villain Ranatunga, along with Regina Cassandra, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Saiyami Kher in supporting roles.

Fans have welcomed the sequel announcement with excitement, eager to see what new mission awaits Baldev Pratap Singh. Jaat 2 is expected to feature more action, a fresh antagonist, and intense drama.
