Rocky (2021) director Arun Matheswaran's next is a period film titled Saani Kaayidham and the movie marks the acting debut of director Selvaraghavan who plays lead in it. Keerthy Suresh plays Selvaraghavan's sister and the female lead in the movie. We had previously reported that Saani Kaayidham will have a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video and latest we hear the film will make its digital premiere on April 7, 2022 (Thursday).

An official announcement on the same however awaits. Saani Kaayidham is touted to be an action drama set in the 1980s and the film will see both Selvaraghavan and Keerthy Suresh play hardened criminals. Keerthy's character in the movie is said to be named 'Settlement Sambhavi'.

The movie is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment and its technical crew includes Sam CS  for music, Yamini Yagnamurthy for cinematography and Nagooran for edits.
