Trailer of Malayalam Film Narivetta Unveiled; Set for Worldwide Release on May 16, 2025

The official trailer of the much-awaited Malayalam political drama Narivetta was released on April 24, 2025, creating a strong buzz among film enthusiasts. Directed by Anuraj Manohar, the film features a powerful cast led by Tovino Thomas, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Tamil actor Cheran, who makes his Malayalam debut with this film.

Narivetta is inspired by real-life incidents from Kerala and tells the emotional and gripping story of a tribal village's fight to protect their land. The film highlights themes like police brutality, social injustice, and the struggle for tribal rights.

The film is written by Sahitya Akademi Award-winning short story writer Abin Joseph, marking his first screenplay for a feature film.

Narivetta is produced by Tippu Shaan and Shiyas Hassan under the Indian Cinema Company banner. The film’s music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, with cinematography by Vijay and editing by Shameer Muhammed.

The supporting cast includes Arya Salim, Priyamvada Krishnan, and Rini Udayakumar. Narivetta is set to hit theatres worldwide on May 16, 2025.
